What this audit actually checks
Enter one public page URL to inspect its static HTML, observed HTTP response, title, main heading, HTML indexing declarations, canonical, JSON-LD syntax and extractable text. The reader does not execute JavaScript or crawl the whole site. URL checks are available only where the reader is configured; the pasted HTML review remains available without network capture.
Results include the evidence behind each check and a capture time. “Not checked” is different from “passed”: response headers, site-level files and actual AI crawler access require separate evidence.
How to get a useful snapshot
- Enter the exact public HTTP(S) page URL without query parameters, credentials, custom ports or fragments.
- Run the page check and review the observed response and final URL.
- Download the findings and verify each issue in the original page before editing.
- If the page is blocked, too large or URL checking is unavailable, open the pasted HTML review and supply the head and body together. Pasted HTML stays in your browser; it cannot establish a live response.
The URL reader accepts one static HTML page up to 512 KiB, validates public network addresses and redirects, and sends no visitor cookies. It does not bypass sign-in or render JavaScript. Use only public pages you are authorized to check.
Interpret technical findings in context
One title and one clear main heading help identify a page. A noindex declaration or a canonical pointing elsewhere may be intentional. Valid JSON syntax is only a first check; it does not prove that the markup’s properties, entities or claims are correct.
The text count describes this static snapshot. It is not a minimum word-count requirement or a measure of authority. Use the GEO audit walkthrough to examine supported answers, buyer intent and follow-up actions.
Carry the evidence into the next task
Download the findings and add the important items to the audit checklist. Give each change an owner and acceptance evidence. If the finding concerns crawler rules, test the relevant path in the AI crawler rule checker.
A technical check does not establish whether an AI system has crawled, cited or recommended your page. Measure observed answers separately.
